DC Schools (public and public charter) that will serve grades 7 and 8 in the 2016-2017 school year are eligible to receive support provided by Safe School Certification, free of charge, to strengthen capacity to reduce school violence, improve school climate, and maximize valuable resources. FOCUS will host representatives from Safe School Certification, the DC Office of Human Rights, OSSE, and Child Trends to present an information session for interested schools.
