Understanding the Expanded Employer Obligations to Pregnant Employees

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has announced one of the agency’s priorities is the enforcement of the Pregnancy Discrimination Act.  Recently, the EEOC has issued new guidelines that explain how the EEOC will seek to enforce the PDA.  The PDA guidelines and the anticipated DC pregnancy accommodation law expand obligations of charter schools to pregnant employees.  If you have not looked at your maternity leave policy recently, you need to attend this workshop with Alison Davis and Kevin Kraham of Littler Mendelson, P.C.   They will guide charter schools through the evolving landscape of pregnancy leave.
