This training will provide an overview of the major civil rights laws that apply to charter schools – detailing what they are and how they are enforced.  The training will explore enrollment/recruitment, discipline, students with disabilities, English language Learners, bullying/harassment, and more.  The training will inform attendees how to comply with existing civil rights laws and what they should expect from enforcement actions or investigations (by OCR, DOJ, students/parent advocates, etc.).
