The 2017 FOCUS gala will be preceded by an exclusive pre-gala VIP symposium, "Proof Point City: How Healthy Competition Has Benefited All Public School Students in DC,” where education leaders will discuss the evolution of public schools in DC over the past 21 years and highlight lessons learned that can be implemented across the country.
