TOPIC Difficult Conversations

OBJECTIVE

  • Plan a difficult conversation.
  • Lead a successful difficult conversation that ensures that mutual learning occurs.
DETAILS Conflict in the workplace is inevitable and sometimes necessary, but when managed properly it can lead to positive outcomes. This session invites participants to reflect on their natural tendencies and reactions to conflict before introducing a structure to analyze and prepare for difficult conversations. Through a variety of role plays, participants develop the confidence and skills to effectively engage others during tough situations.
