In preparation for Giving Tuesday, this training session will be an opportunity to learn about crowdfunding and to collaborate with the best and brightest fundraising professionals serving DC public charter schools to flush out ideas and strategies that will encourage platforms that diversify funds which provide additional resources for your school.

The DC Charter Development Professionals Community is a platform to connect DC charter school fundraising professionals. Many charter school development officers express challenges raising additional capital and resources beyond their per pupil and government funding. The purpose of the Charter Development Professionals Community is to collaborate in order to learn with and from each other to share fundraising practices that provide the highest quality resources for our students.  Based on feedback and engagement from the DC Charter Conference, FOCUS has organized the DC Charter Development Professionals Community (DCDPC) as a platform to connect DC charter school fundraising professionals.
