TOPIC     Talent reviews and performance evaluation systems

PRESENTERS     School Leadership Lab and EdFuel

DETAILS   At its best, a strong talent review system can lead to consistency across the school building, set a high level of expectations for staff and retain top employees through noting their strengths and helping them develop on their weaknesses. At its worst, a talent review system is just paperwork that is occasionally used or not used or doesn't exist in the first place. This session will focus on the definition and rationale for a talent review system, best practices and provide planning time to pilot or refine your own practices.

OBJECTIVE: Participants will be able to define talent review systems and their importance in the health of an organization. They will also learn from the best practices in education in order to refine and/or create their organization's internal approach to talent management.
