Happy New Year! The next meeting of the DC Public Education Finance Reform Commission (Commission) will be held this Thursday, January 5th at 5:30 PM in the Anacostia Public Library. The address is 1800 Good Hope Road SE, Washington, DC 20020. To access the library from public transportation, consider the 92 bus or the Potomac Ave/Skyland Circulator route. Parking is also available. We anticipate adjourning the meeting promptly at 8:30 PM. Please leave sufficient time for travel to ensure that we begin and end the meeting on time.

All meeting documents have been posted to the Commission website, including the agenda [pdf] for the meeting. We invite public comment on these documents until 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 5th. You can get in touch with the Commission by emailing info@pefrc.org, posting on our Facebook page or leaving a comment on the website.  After the meeting, a recording and detailed meeting notes will be posted here.

We hope you will be able to join us on Thursday. On behalf of the entire Commission, thank you for your feedback and supporting this important work for DC’s public school students.
