Help DC parents choose the right school for their child. FOCUS wants YOU to help us share public charter school success stories with DC families and prospective teachers.
We’re already preparing for the 3rd Annual DC Public Charter School Recruitment Expo, where public charter leaders and staff will gather to share the mission and successes of their schools with parents looking for the best education for their child.
The DC Public Charter School Recruitment Expo hosts charter school representatives ready to assist parents and teachers in making informed school decisions. It’s a fantastic resource for parents and teachers and a great opportunity to recruit FOCUS volunteers – be sure you don’t miss out!
We’re looking for volunteers to help set up for the event in the morning and spread the word about public charter schools in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to get involved with FOCUS and to ensure that parents have all the information they need to make the best choices for their kids.

Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:
6:00 am – 7:00 am: Set-up
7:00 am – 11:30 am: School/Vendor Registration
11:00 am – 4:00 pm: Family Registration/Main Exhibition
3:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Break-down
